Dementia Awareness (Theory and Practical)

The Level 2 Award in Dementia Awareness provides participants with a foundational understanding of dementia and its effects on individuals and their families. Additionally, participants explore available community resources and services, learn to manage challenging behaviors, and understand the importance of person-centered care and dementia-friendly environments. Upon completion of the course, participants typically receive a Level 2 Award certification in Dementia Awareness, which can be beneficial for those working in healthcare, social care, or other fields where they may interact with individuals living with dementia.
